Green Week – In the Garden of the Roman Catholic Episcopal Palace in Oradea
As part of Green Week, we had the pleasure of returning for a second meeting with the 4th-grade students from “Oltea Doamna” Primary School in Oradea, under the guidance of their teacher, Mrs. Rodica Fechete, for another activity dedicated to nature and environmental education.
The activity took place in a storybook setting – the Garden of the Roman Catholic Episcopal Palace in Oradea – where the children had the opportunity to observe firsthand valuable tree species and other ornamental plants. This direct contact with nature not only reinforced their theoretical knowledge but also nurtured their sense of respect, curiosity, and responsibility toward the environment.
This meeting was a follow-up to last year's activity, and the children's interest, involvement, and enthusiasm reaffirm our belief that such experiences truly contribute to shaping a conscious and engaged young generation.
We thank everyone who made this activity possible, especially the caretakers and staff of the Roman Catholic Episcopal Palace Garden, and most of all, the young explorers who showed us that the future of nature is in good hands!
