Pădurea, prietena mea - lecții de viață verde pentru cei mici

The Beginning of the Week Was Both a Challenge and a Beautiful Discovery for Over 100 Children from the Kindergarten of Emanuel Baptist Theological High School in Oradea.

On the occasion of Green Week, the Eco Forest Life Association, together with its partners, organized an educational activity dedicated to the youngest friends of nature.

Budău Ruben, a professor in the Department of Forestry and Forest Engineering at the University of Oradea and an active member of the Eco Forest Life Association, delivered an interactive lecture titled "The Forest, My Friend." The little ones were captivated by the stories about the forest, discovering how important this ecosystem is for our everyday lives.

The activity continued with a hands-on, enthusiastic moment: the planting of oak acorns—a symbolic action through which the children learned that forest regeneration begins with small but meaningful steps.

The highlight of the day was the planting of a Ginkgo biloba tree, also known as the "tree of life," symbolizing resilience and our commitment to nature. It was a touching gesture that emphasized the importance of engaging children from a very young age in protecting the environment.

Eco Forest Life Association expresses its gratitude for the support of the Bihor County School Inspectorate and Emanuel Baptist Theological High School in Oradea, constant partners in our mission of ecological education.

A special thank you goes to Ms. Diana Pentie for the invitation, and to all the participating kindergarten teachers for their dedication and for the wonderful children they guide with such passion.

Forestry education is one of the core priorities of the Eco Forest Life Association. We invite the entire community to support and get involved in raising awareness and protecting our forests, so that our future can truly be green!
