The Eco Forest Life Association, in partnership with the Bihor County School Inspectorate, Plexus Corp. – Romania, and "Iuliu Maniu" Greek-Catholic High School in Oradea, organized a special activity dedicated to Forest Month, under the theme "The Role and Importance of Forests in Our Lives."
The event brought together 125 primary school students from five classes of the "Iuliu Maniu" Greek-Catholic High School, offering them an interactive educational experience meant to spark their curiosity and respect for nature. The children had the opportunity to discover the vital role that forests play in maintaining environmental balance and to understand how each of us can contribute to their protection.
We thank our partner, Plexus, for their continued support in carrying out this project, which aligns perfectly with one of the core objectives of the Eco Forest Life Association: promoting forest education among children and shaping a new generation of environmentally responsible citizens.
The highlight of the activity was the final challenge: planting and caring for 125 oak saplings. The children learned about the stages of a tree’s development, the importance of trees within ecosystems, and the personal responsibility each of us has in protecting nature.
The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Ruxandra Sime, representing Plexus, and Drd. Eng. Racz Alexandru, representative of the Eco Forest Life Association, who actively contributed to this memorable educational experience.
Through such initiatives, we are nurturing a more aware, informed, and involved generation—committed to protecting nature for a green and sustainable future.
