Eco Forest Life Association Together with Future Foresters at the “Bihor Plants” Initiative – 3rd Edition
The Eco Forest Life Association was honored to participate in the third edition of the “Bihor Plants” event, held on Saturday, March 29, in Apateu, Bihor County. The event was organized with the support of the Department of Forestry and Forest Engineering of the University of Oradea, bringing together a dedicated team of 14 faculty members and 60 students from the Forestry, Forest Exploitation, Wood Processing Engineering, and Sustainable Forest Resource Management master’s programs.
The presence of the Eco Forest Life Association in this project aimed to support forest education and promote civic involvement in environmental protection efforts. Alongside our partners and enthusiastic young forestry students, we contributed to the planting of 9,000 forest saplings, including sessile oak, pedunculate oak, and red oak, across a significant area in the Apateu locality.
We are proud to be part of this valuable initiative, together with the project’s institutional partners such as the Bihor County Council, the Bihor Forest Directorate, and the Bihor County School Inspectorate, who played an essential role in the successful implementation of the project.
Eco Forest Life reaffirms its commitment to supporting projects dedicated to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development, and encourages the entire community to actively participate in reforestation programs and the protection of the environment. Through direct involvement and collaboration, we are building a greener and healthier future for generations to come.
